The Café AVIA initiative welcomes SOS Miss Dolittle as the latest partner in raising awareness of certified Bird Friendly coffee.
We met Jennifer Tremblay, founder of SOS Miss Dolittle at the QuébecOiseaux annual conference last fall and learnt about her commitment to wildlife. Jennifer convinced us that promoting certified Bird Friendly coffee was a perfect fit with their mission of protecting biodiversity. She and her colleagues want to help get the word out about certified Bird Friendly coffee. Located in St-Henri-de-Lévis, the wildlife rehabilitation centre provides specialized care to wildlife - birds included, with the intent of releasing them back into the wild. The centre operates its own veterinary clinic specialized in wildlife care with a veterinarian on site, the first of its kind in Quebec.
